Celia
Play
Summary
Celia is the daughter of the usurping Duke Frederick and Rosalind's inseparable cousin and dearest friend. When her father banishes Rosalind, Celia chooses loyalty over privilege and accompanies her into exile in the Forest of Arden, disguising herself as Aliena. Her steadfast devotion to Rosalind anchors the play's exploration of friendship, and she finds her own love in the reformed Oliver.
